Eugene had a blow out on the road in which I assisted as well I could from a hospital bed. They were responsible for covering the cost of the tire while the RV was in their legal possession and contract. This is common practice. Eugene also hit something and broke the cover off the motor to my awning on the right side and a side light in the rear on same side. Which he did not disclose to me at any point. I did not file a claim as this would have cost him WAY more money. I have photos of the rv before and after with time stamps. I did not reimburse for the tire as I had to use my own money to get the RV fixed. This cost me over $600. Eugene was reimbursed $60 for the roadside assistance that he told me was not responding. But from his review it looks like he gave up shortly after trying and found his own company to bring a tire. I was in a hospital recovering from an emergency surgery and wasn't able to get the tanks dumped before the rental. I explained to him how, where and the cost of doing this and he was very grateful for the info. And I also reimbursed him for this as well. He also never disclosed the location where he was asking the RV. He drove it almost 900 miles. The generator had no problems running before or after the return. While this RV had potential, it didn't live up to it. When we received the RV the previous renters, nor the owners, dumped the sewage tank. Therefore, it was on us to take the time out of our trip to find a site and do the dumping. The RV came with a 20 hour generator but only worked 5 of the hours. On the way home from our trip we had a blow out. It was late Sunday afternoon & we were told their roadside assistance would take over an hour to get there, IF they could find someone. Because it was late, we went ahead and found a tire shop close that said that they could change the tire and give us a new one. When we told the owners this we were not made aware that if we purchased the tire on our own we would not be reimbursed. After returning the RV the owners then informed us that they would not be reimbursing us for the tire that we paid for. When we contacted RVnGo they said they would only reimburse $60 for the roadside assistance. The total tire cost $230. When you rent a house you don't expect to replace the air conditioning unit on a house that you don't own. Same thing with this tire. The owners will now get the benefit of this tire that we paid for. Would not rent from this owner again nor will we rent from RVnGo again. Extremely bad customer service all around. Brody was very responsive to all of our communications. The RV was stocked with everything we could have needed. It was clean and seems well maintained. There were only a few minor things (loose shower head clip, backup camera hard to see in certain conditions, etc.) but nothing that prevented us from enjoying our trip. Brody was very nice and helpful when booking! The RV had lots of basics which was very useful! The queen bed was comfy, firm but comfy! The front tires had excessive wear on the inside and it likely needs an alignment which made for a rough ride. The windshield was cracked. The AC only worked in the cab when driving, the rooftop vents didn’t work when driving. When not driving and hooked up to electric the AC did not work in the back where the queen bed is. It was manageable for me to sleep back there but my husband was sweating and uncomfortable so he slept near the front where the AC worked well. For reference we were in 80-90degree weather in MI. We didn’t get any check in/out procedures or guides so I didn’t know what to expect or how the process would go.
