2020 Thor Motor Coach ACE 30.1 Class A Motorhome for Rent

The RV was extremely basic and looked much better in the pictures than in person. The slides on the RV left horrible sliding marks on the floor of the RV. We were also supposed to be supplied with clean linens and basic amenities like rv toilet paper, hand soap, any kind of cleaner such as windex or chlorox. On several occasions the wheel stabilizers failed and my father and I were forced to stabilize the wheels 1 by 1. It is made to automatically set and stabilize itself. As for cleanliness that rv was spotless spare a doggie bone treat I forgot and some frozen food I forgot to throw out. That aside my father and I cleaned out the rv top to bottom with the supplies we bought. Regarding the damage we were 100% honest and called the owner immediately to explain it was caused by a low hanging branch on a single lane road on our way to a campsite. My father was driving. We also spent 6 hours doing the repairs seen on the pictures. My father has taken responsibility for the incident and we made the owner aware of the damage and the repairs immediately. We take responsibility for that damage and we lost our deposit as a result. Things happen sometimes and it is an unfair and inaccurate depiction of the events described by Silas the owner. We always empty tanks before leaving the site and never use it on the road while driving the rv back. Tanks empty and rv clean. We accept responsibility for the damage outside but notice he took only 3 pics of the inside that only shows the dog bone on the floor. The used linens are USED! They need to be washed lol and that's a tiny little stain on a pillowcase that had yet to be washed. The food in the freezer I simply forgot. No pics of the entire inside of the RV because it was spotless and doesn't fit the owners false narrative. If the RV was a mess you would think the owner would show such a mess in the post return pics, which he does not provide. That being said I wish Silas the best of luck going forward but I strongly suggest he be honest and tell the whole truth instead of making false claims. Silas was a pleasure to work with. Quick responses, knowledgeable about the RV, and very accommodating. The RV was beautiful and easy to drive.
