Kalea is something special.
This vintage VW with her unique green paint job brings aloha smiles with her everywhere she goes. You travel a long way to get to the island, now pull right up to the sand to experience Maui like a local. I personally meet you at the airport for pickup to show you all about your new Maui home on wheels and happily share useful info for your time on Maui.
This rental is the best way to adventure affordably.
She is a manual 1983 air-cooled Volkswagon Westfalia & comes fully stocked and ready to go, plus will help you blend in with the Maui locals.
With two fold out beds and plenty of storage she is so easy to settle into. There is a small sink with running water, a "cooler" fridge, two burner stove, a fold out table to eat or work from the couch, and another fold out table to sit in the passengers which spins around. She is easy to drive, many of Maui's roads & parking lots are small, but she is the same length as a regular minivan or SUV, allowing for easier navigation.
There is no toilet, so you've got to get creative there.
No Power steering, but all the nostalgia with bigger steering wheel.
She can sleep 4 adults, 2 in the pop top and 2 down below on the fold down bed (we camp with our three kids on the top bed comfortably).
Looking like a local car definitely helps when driving around the island, and she is just so fun with that undeniable pure Vintage VW feel..

Kitchen | Plates, bowls, cups, spoons, forks & knives. Mixing bowls, pot, pan & utensils. Organic salt, pepper, oil & vinegar. Coffee pour over, mugs + local Maui fresh ground coffee. Two burner stove, propane& 40 quart built in cooler fridge. Sink with 13 gallons of built in running water.

Adventure | 2 Beach/Camping Chairs (cutest ones you ever saw). 2 two snorkel sets & 4 Organic beach towels. Lantern & flashlight. Maui Magic guide book + a print out of our top local suggestions.

Bedding | Organic sheets (2 sets), 4 organic pillows + pillow cases, organic comforter. Organic knitted coverlet, organic throw blankets & throw pillows.

Solar | Portable solar heated outdoor shower. Hanging Solar lights for indoor or outdoor use.

ALSO | Battery powered lighter + candle. Card games. First aid kit. Canvas top with 3 large screened windows. Button on heavy duty screens for the side & back door, to keep bugs out while you let the breeze in. Swivel passenger front seat. Fire extinguisher. Bluetooth stereo. Organic dish soap, sponge & towels.
