I have my own commercial insurance, so have peace of mind knowing the camper is covered 24/7. This allows you to waive the insurance option, saving you quite a bit of money! However, I do recommend purchasing roadside assistance to cover any issues whether while towing or while stationary. If you are towing, I recommend checking with your insurance provider to make sure you have extended liability coverage. My insurance only covers the camper, but not anything that could potentially be damaged by the camper in an accident.
