Campgrounds and RV Parks near Atlantic City

Although close to the beaches, Whippoorwill Campground is covered by trees for perfect shade on hot summer days. In addition to restrooms and showers, guests are welcome to use the olympic size swimming pool to further cool off, and a recreation area and snack bar for relaxing. The campgrounds support electric 30/20/15 and 50 amp, and are pet friendly.
Also in the nearby city of Ocean View is the pet friendly Ocean View Resort Campground. When staying at this campground, visitors have access to its newly installed cafe, general store, and ice cream bar. The grounds have showers, restrooms, laundry facilities, and support full electric hookups. While being just minutes away from the beach, Ocean View Resort has a small lake on site as well as a pool. With amenities like mini-golf and planned activities for families, there’s so much to do at this park that you may forget the rest of your vacation!
At Lake and Shore RV Campground, attention to detail is paramount. The campgrounds come with mini-golf, a lakeside beach (complete with volleyball nets), a gym, snack shops, and a swimming pool with a small waterpark attached. National Parks and State Parks near Atlantic City
In addition to its vibrant city center and nightlife, Atlantic City is under an hour away from woodland parks and tranquil beaches common to the Northeast coast.
North of Atlantic City, Corson’s Inlet State Park is made up of a coastal bay and many seaside hiking trails. Although swimming is not allowed, the undeveloped beachfront is great for sunbathing away from the crowds of Atlantic City. The park does allow for boating, canoeing/kayaking, crabbing, and fishing.
Inland and north of Atlantic City, Double Trouble State Park’s wooded hiking trails are a hidden gem along the Jersey Shore. The park consists of miles of walking trails and flowing creeks that are perfect for kayaking through, as well as the incredibly well preserved remains of a 19th century village. Complete with a sawmill, Pine Barrens ghost town is like stepping back in time through history, and having a picnic on the grass.

Since its inception in 2006, Atlantic City BeerFest has grown to include a whopping 150 brewers during its two-day, weekend run in June. In fact, the festival is so gigantic, over 25,000 people flock to Bader Field to attend— and it’s only getting bigger each year. To entertain such a crowd, at Atlantic City BeerFest you can try out new brews while you also: play laser tag and oversized corn-hole, attend cooking seminars and mixology demonstrations, and listen to live music on its local and national stages.
