Great Smokey Mountains Camping Rules
General campsite rules from the National Park Service:
- Two vehicles are allowed per site. At RV sites, only one RV or trailer is allowed. Each campground has overflow parking for excess vehicles.
- Maximum of six people per campsite. Must use tent pad where a pad is provided. Hammocks are allowed,
- Check-in time is 1:00 p.m. and check-out time is at noon.
- Pets must be on a leash. Leashes must be no longer than six feet. Pets are only allowed on the roads, Oconaluftee River Trail, and Gatlinburg Trail.
- The camping limit is 14 consecutive days.
- Maximum of 60 total camping days in a calendar year. Limits apply to all park campgrounds.
- Quiet hours: 10:00 PM-6:00 AM
- Generator quiet hours: 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM
