As someone who has traveled the world and come back home to the South, I want to give people the opportunity to experience the beauty and serenity of a Southern Staycation. Although I love going to faraway places, I think we sometimes forget just how exciting nearby locales can be.
I have a passion for introducing people to wonderful places, and I want to put the South on the map for some that might not consider it to be a good vacation spot.
Memphians can get to Heber Springs in less than the time it takes to drive to Nashville (and I promise the drive is 100 times more enjoyable)!
Imagine, you and your family take a lovely drive through lush, green countryside. Maybe you make a few pit stops at the cute farmer's markets or antique shops along the way. You pull up to your waterfront campsite in Heber Springs ready to relax because I have it completely set up for you to enjoy the sunset.
All you need to do is unload your bags into the trailer and then take a seat in the chairs around the fire pit to roast some s'mores with the kids (I have extra long, extendable pokers and mini chairs for the littles!) and enjoy tunes with the outdoor speaker system that you can control via Bluetooth.
I have an outdoor kitchen, complete with a mini-fridge, gas stove, and sink so if you haven't had dinner yet, you can easily cook up a steak on my cast iron. Head inside to play some board games with the kids, or watch a Netflix movie on the 55-inch TV.
When you get up in the morning, you can grab a quick coffee thanks to my pal Keurig and sit outside to see how the sunrise compares with the sunset on the lake. Let me know your preference, I still haven't picked a favorite!
What I hope for my guests is that they can arrive and immediately take a deep, calming breath of fresh air and reinvigorate themselves over the weekend. I'd love to set up any special experiences if you have a birthday or anniversary as well! Leave Heber Springs with a new pep in your step!
